Yesterday WoWInsider.com reviewed the TBag, an addon to manage your inventory. Turns out it’s over-the-top cool. Check out their reveiw, they said it way more eloquently than I will.

Highlights:
- Auto-sort your inventory, group like-things together
- Anywhere view of your bank
- Anywhere view of your alt’s bags
- Anywhere view of your alt’s bank
Last time I downloaded it from here:http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/8064/

I’m not sure if [Bloodthistle] is a benefit or a detriment.
Illyah is my fourth herbalist. I like the profession. At least at the low levels, herbalism/alchemy seem to be the most universally helpful profession pairing. On my other characters, the lowbie areas where you start herbalism have Peacebloom, Silverleaf, Earthroot and the occational Mageroyal. The blood elf zone is the first time I’ve run into bloodthistle (which I guess makes sense since only Blood Elves can use it…). It’s all over the place. Very nice for the herbalism skill up.. but I’m not sure I understand the usefulness of the herb itself.

Bawk Bawk, my Blood Elf Guild, had a little bit of a bumpy second guild night. I’m untutored in the ways of guild nights.. and although I mapped out the start/end and mobs for each of our quests, I neglected to form a list of which quests should be tackled in which order. This lead to a bit of hand-waving on my part.. which the guild accomodated by wandering off into Silvermoon City for training/shopping/mail and other random-ness.
After the first 30 mins or so it got better. Finally we all met at the bats in front of the city and set off to solve the last of our quests in Eversong Woods.
At the end the night we were all done with Eversong quests, moving on to the GhostLands. We’re all hovering in the 13-14 range. I set the guild cap at 15 (which in retrospect I think is too high. Ah well.).
The current plan is that everyone will complete class/profession specific quests outside of guild night.. and that they will craft everything they need to craft for our next session so we can just hit the ground running.
For my part, I’ll probably spend at least one night this week mapping out the guild quests and planning an order-of-events so we can have a less bumpy guild night number three.
Illyah is becoming a mighty Paladin. I’m still annoyed at the lack of ranged weapons.. but other than that I’m pleased at her versatility. Lanlong sent Illyah the [Oak Mallet] of the Monkey (+4 Agility, +3 Stamina) and [Hefty Battlehammer] of the Gorilla (+5 Intelligence, +6 Strength). Unfortunately Illyah currently can’t use maces of any form. The weapon trainer for maces is over in Thunder Bluffs (far far away, beyond a zone of 15-16 level critters). I think I’ll wait until after next week’s guild night (when I’ll hopefully be at or above the 15/16 level range) before I make the run from Ogrimarr to Thunder Bluffs.
In discussions after Guild night, Verlia asked if there was a guild tabard. After a short discssion, Eadyth declared the the main point of playing a Blood Elf was the dead sexiness of it all.. and guild tabards just cover that up.. so for now there will be no guild tabard.
No, we’re not vain. Why do you ask?

Monneh skilled tailoring from 17 to 125 last night. Did it in Exodar by running between AH and Tailor trainer. I would have gone further but 1) I ran out of money and 2) I can’t skill past 150 until I reach level 20 and visit a trainer in Stormwind.
At the moment I have -no- idea how to get from where I am to Stormwind. I did once accidentally hop the wrong boat and end up in the East Kingdom.. but I didn’t know how to get from there to Stormwind. I guess I’ll have to figure that out.
I’m a little bummed though. The reason I was speed skilling up was because I wanted to be able to make large bags to sell in AH and so that I could make cloth armor that would be useful to myself at a lower level. It looks like I can now make 10 slot bags. Decent.. but not the uber-bags I was hoping for. The cloth armor thing is looking better. I think I’m skilled to the point of reasonably making my own armor until about level 23. Hopefully by 23 I’ll be able to train tailoring up and skill some more.
It wasn’t all just boring crafting. I also finished a couple of quests. Some gnome guy, north of Blood Watch, had hidden himself in a dead turtle’s shell and was “observing” the swarm of murlocs around him.
I hate murlocs. Something about them just pisses me off. I hate patrolling a murloc village waiting for a specific type of murloc to show up. A relatively easy “collect X from the corpses of Y” was made practically unbearable by a low drop rate. Two hours later I finally had the stuff for the turn in. So much for a “quick” quest before bed.

I’m tired of playing WoW in the dark. It occured to me the other day that I have very little clue what the world looks like when the sun is up. This made me sad. I know that the WoW clock is tied to the RL clock.. but just because it’s dark outside doesn’t mean that I want to always play in a dark world. *sigh*

Yesterday was devoted to leveling Obliette up to at least 10 (so I could train in Alchemy). It went fairly quickly and then when I hit 10 I ran back to the Druid Trainer at Dolanaar. He told me that he couldn’t train me and that instead I should seek out Mathrengyl Bearwalker in Darnassus. So I ran off to Darnassus. Marthrengyl gave me a spell to “Teleport to MoonGlade”. I activated the spell and found myself in a strange land with strange people. There were even Taurens! There I found Dendrite Starblaze and he sent me off to speak with the “Great Spirit Bear”.
The Spirit Bear:

The bear and I had a long conversation. It wasn’t exactly one-sided… but my responses definately felt scripted. Then, when I returned to visit Dendrite he told me to go back to Darnassus.
It would have been helpful if he’s suggested I take a hyppogryphon. Since I hadn’t noticed the hippogryphon I instead started to walk and found people celebrating the Lunar festivities. I tried to “use the moonbeams to return to Darnassus” but I couldn’t figure out how to do it. When I asked my guildies on ventrillo they suggested that instead I should go back and use the hippogryphons. Doh! Smacking self on forehead.
I flew back to Darnassus.. but by then it was about 1 AM so I decided to just log off. It wasn’t until this morning that I realized that I haven’t actually turned in the quest and received my bear form. Doh!

RpgOutfitter.com officially gets my vote as coolest non-AddOn Warcraft thing. It’s official now that I’ve seen what it does with guild rosters.
Just character sheets were cool. Being ability to link to your charcter in a web page is very convenient. But the guild rosters go -way- beyond convenient and well into the uber-freaky-fantastic area.
