Generally, I try and get the sheeps/traps to come after the pull.  But you can't really do anything about rogue saps. The best you can do is sap, pull normally, and then use Avenger's Shield once the mobs are closer.

Or if it's a group of 4, sap one on the end, and AS the other end.</description>
