- Twisted Evils from Willow at Kormek’s Hut @ 62,40, NE of the Kodo Graveyard (I don’t know if it can be shared)
- The Pariah’s Instructions (Reward: [Mark of the Chosen]) from Centaur Pariah who is on patrol ( from 43,85 which is a small hill he walks to 48,87 and moves up a bigger hill and ends his patrol at 50, 86). (cannot be shared)
- Legends of Maraudon from Cavindra (located inside the fortress/cave that leads into the Maraudon instance. Look for orange crystals and continue heading down that path. She is a satyr NPC that will be standing on the left side of the hall)

Last night we did a run on Maraudon. We had Tatia (51 Pally), Zaramina (50 Mage), Sibiy (59 Hunter), from our guild and then we picked up Athiest (44 Priest), and Synergie (49 Shaman) from the /lfm channel.
The run went very well (yes, we were minorly overpowered). I wanted to tank.. I really did.. but on the trash mobs, if Synergie and I both ran up and started beating on the mob.. inevitably the mob aggroed on Synergie. I’m thinking about ways to fix that.. I just don’t generate enough threat if I’m not being hit.
When someone threw up a damage meter I scored only slightly above the shaman totems *sigh*.
Regardless I got the trinket I was after and was able to clear quite a few quests out of my log.

Reading Big Red Kitty makes me want to play my hunter. *sigh* too bad I’m committed to getting Tatia (my pally) to 70 before giving true love to any of my alts. No hunter for me… yet. But the idea of “kiting” and “chain trapping” just gives me shivers.
We finally finished Zul’Farrak last night (WoWwiki: http://www.wowwiki.com/Zul%27Farrak) . I did it with a Guildie group so there was no PUG wierdness. The first time we went through we were levels 44-48 and didn’t have the [item]Mallet of Zul’Farrak[/item] so couldn’t summon Gahz’rilla. Last night we were level 49-59, a little over powered. It started out so simply..
I’m cleaning up my quest log and found that I had a couple of quests to finish up in Feralas. So I flew off to Feathermoon. While killing Ironfurs and Graddoc’s (for their livers) my Brother logged onto Venti. He has a hunter who is very close to me in level and offered to come quest with me.
While he was flying on the bird I happened to stumble on another quest. So there’s this child, Shay.. and she’s wandered off from her guardian (very large slow fellow) and he asked us to bring her back. Brother arrives and we quickly finished off the liver quests and ran off north to gather the flames and assemble a stave. It was quick and easy. Then we went and gathered the poor lost child. “Find mobs that congregate around campfires and stand in the fire while you AoE grind them. Each tick of the campfire damage can proc reckoning and redoubt while doing almost no damage to you. I was doing it the other day outside Uldaman and was able to keep both up nearly 100% when fighting only 1-2 mobs. Really speeds an already speedy process.“
I figure someday Tatia the Tank will need to heal. So starting to identify gear that makes this possible (without respeccing to Holy).
[Ashtongue Talisman of Zeal] http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32489 looks like it drops in the Black Temple.
More as I find it.
When you don’t have it, you miss it. I constantly get the feeling I’m making funny faces at the mobs to get them to aggro on me “Nyah, nyah, come and get me”. A while back I got a “Goblin Fishing Pole”. A couple of sticks of dynamite.. a bit unrefined.. but ranged non-the-less.
[Cold Basilisk Eye] (5 min cooldown) Drops from Cold Eye Basilisks in STV at around level 35.
[Six Demon Bag] A little bit random.. but it seems to have at least a 50% chance of a ranged spell.. and you can use it at level 46. Rawr! World drop or AH purchase.
[item]Linken’s Boomerang[/item] Quest at 54-ish.
[item]Egan’s Blaster[/item] Quest at level 55-60ish.
[The Decapitator] Level 70 one-handed axe dropped by Prince Malchezaar of Karazahn Use: Hurls your axe in an attempt to decapitate your target causing 513 to 567 damage.
- Attain level 35 (check)
- Attain enchanting level 250 (check)
- Obtain 90 Vision Dust, 20 Dream Dust, 20 Lesser Nether Essence, 10 Greater Nether Essence
- Bring Runed Truesilver Rod
- Have 12g to pay for the training
- Fight your way to Annora in Uldaman (Map).
- Train Enchanting
* Train Artisan Enchanter (check)
* enchant gloves with agility to get to 235
* enchant chest item with superior health to get to 245
* enchant bracer with greater strength to get to 250
When we made our first run on Uldaman no one mentioned the enchanting trainer.. so Tatia was unprepared. She did manage to train Artisan Enchanter.. but since it was a dungeon run, all of her enchanting mats and rod were in the bank. So I need to make another run at Uldaman.

So I dutifully gathered all the listed mats and I wandered over to Uldaman (planning to see if I could come in the back door and solo to Annora). Ran into a forming PUG and accepted their offer to join. Not too painful.
Made it to Annora and started enchanting like a mad-woman. Went through all the mats I’d brought and found out that Annora has changed at some point. The guide I followed skilled me up to ~260. She now has 8-10 more recipes and the highest one requires you to have enchanting at 295. Well darn, I didn’t bring the mats for that. So I’ll need to go back to Uldaman at some point and get the last of those.
The problem is.. I’m a little puzzled how to get from 265 to 295 without breaking the bank. I have tons of vision dust, dream dust and .. um.. another dust.. but all of my yellow/orange recipes call for shards. Large amounts of very expensive shards. Still puzzling through it.

- Goto Darnassus, buy [Formula: Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina] from Mythrin’dir. (check)
- Acquire 250 Dream Dust.
- Enchant shield from skll 265-290.
- Goto Moonglade,buy [Formula: Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense] and [Formula: Runed Arcanite Rod]
- Acquire 1x Arcanite Rod, 1x Golden Pearl, 10x Illusion Dust, 4x Greater Eternal Essence, 4x Small Brilliant Shard, 2x Large Brilliant Shard.
- Make 1 Runed Arcanite Rod. (291)
- Enchant Cloak from skill 291-300.
