World of Warcraft helpful tips and tricks from a grrl gamer.
Oh.. in all the excitement with writing about the Huntard I forgot to mention. We had a sucessful Black Morass run. I’m now keyed.
Group was Gongniu (warrior tank), Tatia (paladin healer), Knunn (rogue), Sibiy (hunter) and Raouen (hunter).
I think Sibiy died once.. but we made it through anyway. Go us!
We live in such barbaric times. Why oh why is it that I can make a comment on some site somewhere and then completely forget where I made the comment. Something should track my comments automatically so I can see if there are any followup. Seriously I sprinkle my comments across the Internet.. HTH am I supposed to remember where I said what? Summary: You and your 4 best friends (or some random PUG) must save Medivh from the dragonkin of the Infinite Dragonflight. (Though why the Infinite Dragonflight wants to prevent Orcs from entering Azeroth is never quite made clear. Why do they care that Orcs killed a lot of people?) Orcs must enter Azeroth so they can help fight off the Scourge and eventually the Burning Legion.
On your way into the instance you’ll need to be sure to pick up a Chron-beacon from Sa’at (he’s just past the instance boundary inside the instance). The entrance (E) is at the north-end of the instance. Medivh(M) stands at the south side of the instance. Do not step on Medivh’s island until you’re ready to start the main event. You need to clear the islands around Medivh where the portals will spawn (without getting too close to him). You don’t have to clear the whole instance.. just the area around Medivh. Once the immediate area is cleared, buff everyone, eat buff food, drink elixirs. From here on it’s ~45 minutes of nearly constant fighting. Read the rest of this entry »
(AKA: Yet another story about how PUGs suck)
Actually it’s not PUGs that suck.. it’s the people in them.
Logged on.. nothing guild-like going on so checked /lfg. Found a Druid tank grouped with a Hunter lfg for Shadow Labs. Whisper them and get an invite. Suggest two DPS guildie Rogues. Guildies get invites.
Group was: PUG Druid Tank, PUG Hunter, Tatia (Holy Paladin), Floki (Rogue) and Knunn (Rogue). Read the rest of this entry »
Wow.. yesterday sucked. I think we’ve been getting a little cocky. We decided to run Black Morass to get our last key part. La-ti-da-ti-da.. you know.. just a quick jaunt in the Black Morass, get that done and then move on. Craptacular failures followed. Read the rest of this entry »
From left to right:
Raouen (Hunter), Amellea (Resto Druid), Chulong (Rogue), (in front) Stiletta (Rogue), Daegothh (Mage), (in the back) Knunn (Rogue), Pheefee (Warrior), Tatia (Holy Paladin), and Baldwyne (Protection Paladin)
Note how the Illidari tabard really emphasizes the… ahem.. femininity of the grrls. ![]()
Last night we had 10 guild members logged on all at the same time. Of course, 30 seconds later one of them had to log off.. but for those 30 seconds we were almost a raid.
We’re awfully close to actually having enough people (in the correct roles) to go into Kara. We’re also making good progress on getting everyone keyed. (tonight: Black Morass) Read the rest of this entry »
I’ve read in a bunch of places that Pally healing is two-button healing. From the forums:
Pally Healing:
Bind 1 to Flash of Light, bind every other key to Holy Light.
Press 1, repeat.
In case of emergency, mash face on keyboard.
Maybe I’m doing it wrong. Read the rest of this entry »

Everything (and I do mean everything) you ever wanted to know about Paladins. All collected in one thread.
I’ve refered to it multiple times.. especially when looking for the +spell coefficient.
