The Attumen pickup can be tricky. He doesn't spawn in quite the same place every time and frequently the first thing that pisses him off when he spawns is a healer. He also hates paladins. He will not drop your gloves for the first four months you are in there, then he'll drop them the day after you buy your arena healing gauntlets. Then he'll drop them every time for the next few weeks. Congratulations. The Attumen pickup can be tricky.
