It shows an single line of instructions with a icon to tell you what to do. Tekkub, the author, has a fantastic help page over on his site. I talked with her, gave her our information (server/ventrillo) and suggested she log on with us for a while. I also sent her my short description of the game and the classes. Before I started playing Warcraft I told Fiancee “I have an addictive personality”. He decided to chance it anyway. Since then I believe he’s come to regret involving me in his WoW addiction. He says it’s taken over my life and is preventing me from doing the things I did before. I say I was bored with the things I was doing before and it’s only taking over while it’s more interesting. I didn’t log on until later last night.. because I was sewing. Real life, needle and thread sewing. In fact I’m sewing a linen shirt. I wonder where that puts my RL tailoring skillz.. Anyway. I logged on a 9-ish and the guildies who were on decided to try and tackle a heroic. I support the idea in principle.. but I think we need to do Heroic Underbog a bunch of times until it’s on farm status before we should move onto the next heroic. This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion. While Ette was whiffing her way through Uldaman.. Fiancee ran into a similar problem. Fiancee jumped into LFG and joined up with a Mana Tombs group. They entered the instance and then wiped on both the first and the second pulls in the Tombs. Things were looking very inauspicious. After the second wipe Fiancee offered to start marking mobs for the pull… Then he got everyone into voice chat so he could talk them through the pull. Then he rearranged the group and change it so the Feral Druid was tanking instead of the (somewhat) Retribution Paladin (pally had point spread across all three trees). Last night nothing much was going on in the 70s so I logged on Ette intending to try out a new addon (TourGuide)(review coming) and get a level or two. Ette (Affliction Warlock) is in her low 40s and was in the inn in Hinterlands. Unfortunately, all the Hinterland quests are orange to her.. so it looks like she’s a little bit too low to be questing there. I -hate- the 30s and 40s. Ette’s done everything but group quests.. and orange/red quests in STV. Everything in her questlog is orange… and nothing points to a particular zone for more good-level quests. I’m -so- glad 2.3 is adding a quest hub for this level range. Anyway, Tourguide actually suggested she go back to the Badlands. I’d abandoned the Badlands because the only quests I could find were for Uldaman or group/orange. Tourguide listed a lot more quests that I just hadn’t found. So I flew to Loch Modan, ran to Badlands and joined the LFG channel for Uldaman. Then I started running around Badlands following Tourguide’s advice. About 20 minutes into it, out of the blue, I got an invite to a group. {cue ominous PUG music} This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion. Fiancee wants to get Beast Lord shoulders for his Hunter. This requires many many runs through Steamvaults. Luckily I love him.. and I want to get CE Exalted in order to buy the mount in 2.3. We ran Steamvaults 8 times. The shoulders dropped once.. but Fiancee lost to another hunter in the party. Very sad for fiancee. |
