First Blog entry: “Hunter Feed Pet Macro” 2/6/2007
First toon: Tikataka Human Rogue. She’s currently 26 and acting as my bank toon in Ironforge. I just never really glommed onto the rogue class. I think it’s a combination of it not being the right fit.. and it being my first character. The pain, tears and suffering of my first character come back to me every time I try and play a rogue and I just can’t get past it 
First 70: Tatia Draenei Paladin Started March 13, 2007 - August 13, 2007. I didn’t level quickly.. but I did enjoy it.
Favorite class: Warlock. Yes.. my favorite class is the warlock. I discovered this -after- I’d made it to 70 with my Paladin. Ah well. Lilac, my alliance-side warlock is leveling quickly. That said.. the hunter is kinda fun too.. hrm.
First stepped into Kara: 09/11/2007 We’ve made it as far as Netherspite once. We’re working to get up to a full clear.. 8/10 so far.

Popular Entries:
It’s a little sad to say.. but I didn’t even write my most popular entry. One day I was browsing the official forums.. and I saw this really cool armor list. Not wanting to lose it.. I copied it as an entry on my new little blog. Somehow the original was removed from the forums. I’ve gotten -tons- of click/links to “How to get 11.5K HP and Uncrushable Pre-Kara” I do think that it’s possibly out-dated with some of the 2.3 changes.. but I stopped tanking a while ago so I haven’t bothered to update the entry. C’est la vive.
Luckily I bounced back. I -did- write my second most popular blog entry “List of Paladin Healing Gear“. In fact I’ve tweaked and re-written it a couple of times.
Hrm.. I think I need to update my sidebar.. it says “Popular Entries” really those are my favorite entries 
Other ones I rather liked:

Tatia, my paladin is an Enchanter/Herbalist. Her Herbalism is capped and she’s happily picking weeds in Outlands for pots and gold. Her enchanting hit 368 last night (a lot of the guild wanted Savagery on their weapons). I don’t think she’ll be changing any time soon. If it comes down to it.. I’m willing to drop Herbalism but not Enchanting.
Lilac, my warlock, was an Herbalist/Alchemist until I realized that her best gear route was for her to be a Tailor. So she dropped Alchemy to become a Tailor. The rationalization is, even if I don’t have an Alchemist I can get someone in the guild to make pots for me. So a Herbalist is more useful. Lilac is happily picking flowers on her way to outlands. That said, if it comes down to it, I’m willing to drop Herbalism but not Tailoring.
Obliette, my druid, is currently an Enchanter/Herbalist. Someday I hope to do stealth runs with her.. in which case she’ll need to be an enchanter (for the disenchanting). BUT I really haven’t felt the bug to level Obli. I have a healer (so don’t need another).. Stealth runs have been very few-and-far-between. I don’t want to tank. The only pull I feel is from cat DPS. That -does- have draw but not a huge one.
Nocc, my hunter is currently an enchanter. I really don’t need another enchanter.. it was just convenient at the time (and added the ability to disenchant soulbound items for their mats). She has no second tradeskill. She’s leveling with fiancee’s bear tank. His beartank is a skinner/leatherworker. But Nocc has no second tradeskill and this bothers me a lot. I’m stuck as to what to pick as her second skill though.
Herbalism - No involves tracking
Mining - No involves tracking
Skinning - No competes with fiancee for skins
Jewelcrafting/Engineering/Blacksmithing - No, have no miner
Leatherworker - No, have no skinner and hunters get to wear mail before too long, and competes with fiancee
Tailor - No, have a tailor already.. otherwise maybe yes for bags.. but no, the BoP items aren’t useful to Hunters.
Enchanting - Ehh, already have two.. with one at very high level. Hate to skill it up again.
Alchemy - Maybe.. she’s not an herbalist.. but I have several of those.. so she could make potions for them.
I guess I’m just stuck.

Why? Because I think about weird crap when I’m bored.
Ecological:Azeroth is at least twice as big as the map we see. I’m not talking about Northrend. Technically that would fall into the northern “fridgid” zone. I’m talking about the fact that the southern tip if Kalmidor is a desert.. and the southern tip of the eastern continent is a hot steamy jungle. This implies that Booty Bay.. and Tanaris are at or near the equator of Azeroth. This means that there’s just as much space currently unmapped as there is mapped.

Ahh, just remembered. We stepped into Netherspite’s room. Weaver and Taly were explaining the fight. It’s a really really complex fight so we were asking questions and getting clarifications. Suddenly out of the blue I hear “twang” from my right and I say “Um.. What the hell was that?” as Netherspite turns and attacks us.
Now the hunter in question -is- my brother.. and I love him dearly.. but seriously.. he shot the boss before we were done discussing the event. Freaking Huntards.
To be fair, he did say it “just went off” and he “didn’t hit anything”. Yeah, I think that’s a likely story.

We’re #54 on KM! Alright, it’s a little misleading since its counting some of Weaver and Taly’s gear in our total, but we’re definitely proving ourselves as a competent raiding guild. Go us!

Taly and Weaver are players who transfered to our server as part of our “slightly open door policy” on guild recruitment. My brother recruited and sponsored them and so far they seem like fantastic additions.
Add to that, they boosted our guild to #54 on Wowjutsu because of their uber gear! Um.. yeah!

Considering that last week the furthest we’d ever gotten in Kara was the Opera event.. I think we’ve done fantastic at progression this week. Last night was our last try before the reset. We were Gongniu (Warrior Tank), Amellea (Druid Tank), Tatia (Holy Paladin), Zynnia (Holy Priest), Daegothh (Mage), Fynriss (BM Hunter), Krullwyn (MM Hunter), Sibiy (BM Hunter), Spiralla (Shaman) and Ireena (Shadow Priest) for the first 11% and then Weaver (Holy Priest) for the last 85%. So.. we’re in Kara.. and we’re working on the room with the (humanoid) warlocks (who can’t be sheeped) and humunoculous (large imp looking things). We started the fight and I came into the room and then slid to the right so I could stay at range and heal. We get 1-2 of the mobs down when I’m suddenly attacked from behind by a shade on the ramp. (keep in mind, I’m at the bottom of the ramp.. and on each landing of the ramp there’s 4 shades leading up to Aran).
The Shade attacks and the tank picks him up. We get all but one of the humunoculous down when suddenly a massive wave of shades decends on us. There must have been 11-15 of them. They all stream into the room amid cries of “WTF?” We wipe.
I had read about this on the forums. It seems one of the shades in the upper reaches of Kara has a bug that causes him to go on walk-about. When he aggroed on us he also sent a radio signal up to his brother pack of shades and told them to come quick. The brother pack of three headed down the stairs.. and grabbed ALL THE OTHER SHADES on the way down! Rawr, splat!
It was a spectacularly amusing wipe. Sure enough.. when we got there, on the last room full of shades there were only three shades waiting for us.

Knowing that we were planning a long day in Kara on Sunday.. and knowing that I was already prepped and ready to go on Tatia.. I opt to play Lilac, my warlock, on Saturday instead.
