They’re on this list because they -are- BoE.. and it is conceivable that you could get money to buy them. I realize it’s a stretch.. but technically they -are- able to be acquired.

Originally it was the same way with the Belt of Blasting. It was out of reach before.. but it’s doable now.

Why is [Sunfire Handwraps] on there? they are like sunwell gear pretty much, the mats are way too expensive to be realistic.

oh and for gear- T5 great 2 set bonus for demo- i just dont understand the 4 piece bonus though- lame. Im passing on rest of T5 and waiting for T6.

I am a lock (usually the only one in our 25’s) that is currently finishing up on Vashj and Kael and about to head into BT and Mount Hyjal- weee!

Im 21/40 spec through SSC/TK atm, tried as affliction and Demo but to do the most damage 21/40- im my experience - has the highest dps/damage. Afflcition and demo cant compete with S/Bolts doing 7k crits one after the other. I did not think 202 spell hit a requisite for affliction- i even tried regemming in destro to see how many resists i would get on 185 spell hit…13/800 s/bolts. With 202 spell hit i had 8/829 resists. In the end wasnt a huge amount but still- it was a difference. Raid buffed im at 29% crit visible (+5% talent) 200 spell hit (heh gems need a little tweaking again) and 1370 shadow damge. Im susally in the top 5 for DPS/Damage as we have some serious DPS’ers..but no one can beat me on Alar:D.

Ps: Destro only really shines when your in a caster friendly group- if you are asked to flask it in tank group then yeah- your DPS will be seriously gimped.

All that being said all specs are viable imo depending on what the raid is looking for.

Crussieus doesn’t seem to be a US char. That said, I looked up the Shadow Warlords warlock who tops the DPS charts. His spec is here:

I wouldn’t say crit is CRAP…just something I wouldn’t gem for. When I raid affliction, after loading up all 5 dots, I put out 3 shadowbolts (4 is I get a nightfall proc) and with improved shadowbolt, a crit is nice every once in a while. I’m sure the shadowpriest (should you have one) will also be very happy.

Keep in mind that I made this for AffLock.. so there may be places where I choose +spell dmg in favor of +crit. For Affliction crit is crap.. my understanding is that for Destro (or shadow priest/mage) crit might figure bigger into the gear choices.

This is a great list for warlocks. I have nearly everything on the list. You say this is for Affliction but I’m Destro 0/21/40 shadowbolt specc and I top dmg list wherever I raid/party, in SSC I get in 3 top and almost everytime in first place.
One thing that is great to don’t care about gem bonus and you will reach hit rating max level much faster and get much more dmg.
Gem the gear only with Veiled Noble Topaz(hit/+dmg) and when you reach max level for rating gem with (crit/+dmg).

Great list. I’m on the rexxar server if you want to check my gear out so far. Is there any possibility that you could list the best items to get before we get the crafted epic stuff?
