Different.. in a good way

Today while doing my Dailies on Tatia I noticed that I spend a lot of time staring at the buttons wondering if there’s anything else I can push to make this go faster. I’ve mentioned the wait time before.. but I was reminded of it especially this morning since I played Lilac last night and didn’t have any wait time.

Fighting as a holy Pally: Seal of Righteousness, Judgement, Seal of Righteousness, Holy Shock, Exorcism. Wait 6 seconds. Judgement, Seal of Righteousness, wait 8 seconds. Holy Shock, Exorcism, Hammer of Wrath. Mob dies. Flash of Light. 100% health, 80% mana.

This is as contrasted with questing on Lilac.

Fighting as Warlock: Corruption, (amplify curse) Curse of Agony, Siphon Life, Life Tap, Unstable Affliction, Life Tap, Drain Life, Drain Soul. Mob dies. 100% health, 100% mana.

Lilac is now 59. When fighting level 59-61 mobs, she can’t get all of her offensive spells up because she runs out of time. That is, if I cast all of my offensive spells on a single mob.. then the mob dies before I have time to drain enough life to bring me back up to full health/mana. I’m leaving out Immolation because otherwise the mob dies too soon and I’m below full health/mana.

The closest thing to waiting Lilac sees is the 5 seconds where she’s using Drain Life. Usually at that point I’m watching the mob’s health bar intently to see how long I have until I have to switch over to Drain Soul.
