Don’t look at me! I’m hideous!

/cry
Lilac has moved into Outlands. All she’s missing is a big red nose and the clown outfit will be complete. Yes.. she’s crying tears of QQ. Shut up.. if you laugh at her even once she’ll dot your face off!

I was adventuring.. I put on whatever dropped/got from quests that seemed to be an upgrade. I logged off.. changed over to another toon.. and then when I changed back to Lilac I actually swore out loud when I saw her on the character log in screen. I mean seriously. She went from “ok” to “Oh my DEAR GOD!”.

Right after this screenshot she ran off to the Auction House to get something less hideous. She settled for pants… but honestly she almost bought a guild tabard *shudder*

Firstly, props for the title of this post.

Other than that, I remember the pain of “wtf happened to my equipment” when I went into Outland not too long ago. Thankfully I play a male warlock and was lucky enough for the armor to be rendered as actual pants. It gets better soon though. Random non-coordinating colors will still be there, but from what I am seeing (still leveling) the armor itself looks better than what I had after my first few quests. I do wear a guild tabard though, so maybe this is a different case?

  • LOL, yes don’t be a skittle. Are those the “Leggings on Concentrated Darkness”?

I’m pretty sure it’s “Hightop boots of the ‘what were they thinking’” coupled with “Underwaer of the ‘my what white thighs you have’”.

Honestly I don’t know. I think the leggings were a quest reward.. something very early. It was so hideous I just replaced it as quickly as possible and moved on.

I concur. This was a very bad stage for every warlock.

You would think while planning quest rewards Blizzard would at least make all the colors match. Blizzard is that just too much to ask?
