Shade bug in Kara

We ran into the wandering Shade bug in Kara again last night. Just before we engaged the first room of 4 shades I spotted a wandering shade and warned the raid that shortly we’d be mobbed by shades.

We killed the wandering shade.. and sure enought ~8 seconds later, 15 spell shades started streaming down the stairs at us. We ran.. some people actually made it out the door.. I wasn’t one of them. I died to arcane bolts through the floor while jumping the railing on the stairs leading down to the back door.

Bad Piggie!

While playing in Shadowlabs over the weekend my brother commented that he’s having a problem on his hunter that his pet piggie will often run over and break his traps even when he’s sent the piggie to attack a completely different target.

It has, in the past, been commented that my brother needs more healing than the other hunter. The other hunters are normally running with a Ravager and a Cat.

I wouldn’t doubt that these two things are related. :)

The problem with two Kara groups

West Kingdom is growing… we’re now at the point where we can consistently field 10 players to go into Kara. In fact we even have some wiggle room so if a player isn’t able to come we can get another player in to take his/her place. But we now can’t get -everyone- into Kara. There are 4-5 players who end up sidelined because we have enough people to go into Kara.

“What’s in it for me?”

Wednesday night West Kingdom experienced loot drama. It wasn’t even about loot per se.. it was about shards .. and the lack of loot. We went to Kara. We were: Gongniu (Warrior Tank), Pheefee (Warrior off-tank), Validor (Holy Pally), Weaver (Holy Priest), Tatia (Holy Pally)(for everything except Opera), Shoktul (Boomkin), Krullwyn (BM Hunter), Stilletta (Rogue), Sibiy (BM Hunter), and Fynriss (BM Hunter) (for Attuman and Opera), and Amellea (for everything except Attuman). The kills went very smoothly and I don’t think we had any wipes. There was a little bit of confusion with people rotating in and out of the raid for different bosses but I think it worked out in the end (Fynriss got the gun from BBW that he’d been wanting).

Curses!

So a few days ago I was questing in Felwood.. and everyone else was there too. The area was overrun with players. I saw a mob pop. I sent my pet. A shaman saw where my pet was going and used an instant direct damage spell to tag my mob. Ok.. Fine. He got there first. A few seconds later another mob popped. I sent my pet.. same shaman tagged my mob again.

I . was . pissed. Dots won’t tag the mob to me. I can’t make my pet go faster. All my other spells have a cast time. I was just pissed. So.. um… well I put Curse of Recklessness on his mob (mob can’t be feared and now hits harder). I know it’s kind of petty.. but he was being an ass. Does it make me a good warlock or a bad warlock?**

Today while doing my Dailies on Tatia I noticed that I spend a lot of time staring at the buttons wondering if there’s anything else I can push to make this go faster. I’ve mentioned the wait time before.. but I was reminded of it especially this morning since I played Lilac last night and didn’t have any wait time.
