Just so you don’t make the same mistake.. you have to be 68 to start the Karazhan Key quest. And even if you’re only 5 bubbles away from 68.. the bugger in front of Kara won’t even think about giving you the quest until you get those last 5 bubbles. *sigh*
When I logged on last night guildies were talking about helping each other through the Karazhan key quest. One guildie needed the Steamvaults and Arch parts. I need to do it on Lilac but when they asked where I was in the chain I had to admit I hadn’t even started. I even felt guilty at the time.. I mean what was I thinking, slacking on the Kara key quests (regardless of the fact that the keyquest will no longer be necessary after 2.4)(whatever). A few days ago I ran down to Tanaris to start the KoT quest and do the big (and yet terribly terribly slow) tour of the caverns (I think they punched the tour guide’s card.. she is sure power walking through there where I swear she strolled before.. anyway) but I hadn’t even thought about starting the Kara key quest.
So feeling guilty that I was holding up the group I portaled to Stormwind and then flew to Darkshire so I could run to Kara. I got to the front of Kara and then realized that the quest giver had a grey bang instead of a gold one. It was only THEN that guildies confirmed that you can’t do the quest until 68 GRRR! Lilac was 5 bubbles away from 68.
So I told them to go on without me.

Ok.. so I looked at Be.Imba a few days ago. I found it to be interesting but I had other things I needed to do so I didn’t spend too much time thinking about it. I mentioned it to guildies and they also seemed to find it interesting.. but still.. nothing major. Fiancee couldn’t get his toon to load for love or money. I think he gave up trying after about 2 hours.

Last night West Kingdom did a guild-only run at Zul’Aman. We were Gongniu (Warrior Tank), Shaed (Warrior Tank), Tatia (Holy Paladin), Validor (Holy Paladin), Weaver (Holy Priest), Spiralla (Shaman), Daegothh(Mage), Sibiy (BM Hunter), Fynriss (BM Hunter) and Krullwyn (BM Hunter).
First we tried the bear boss. Everything was going very very well until at about 20% boss health Shaed got twitchy and accidentally taunted the boss at the wrong time. Tank dies, Tank 2 dies, raid runs down the steps to reset the boss.
Try two we swapped out Shaed for Amellea (our regularly scheduled off-tank). We ran into a lot of problems where the tank would take a big hit, then the boss would do the roar which silences everyone for two seconds and then smash the tank dead. I think we got three tries in before we had respawn and then the boss showed up -below- us in his initial starting place. At that point we couldn’t aggro the mobs. Believe me, we tried… See the picture of Daegoth dancing between the bear bosses legs.. and he’s not even invisible 
*sigh* bugged bear boss.

Yesterday when I got home from work I was in A MOOD. I don’t often get into a mood. How to describe… I wasn’t in a bad mood.. in fact it was very good.. though there was scowling and .. um.. loud voices.. and stomping.. it was with an undercurrent of humor. Hmmm I sound like an absolute horror.
Ok, trying again. I got home in a -good- mood.. and found that fiancee had stacked empty pizza boxes on my chair… for which I .. um.. raised my voice at him (all the while laughing on the inside) and then threatened to beat him with one of the empty boxes. He (laughingly) took the box away from me and then put them on my desk (still completely in my way). So I pick them up and moved them to the kitchen. While walking back to the kitchen I decided to stomp. Our house has a crawl space.. our floors have tiles.. we have a large in-floor heater (named Humphrey) that rumbles loudly when you stomp near it. It amused me. STOMP STOMP STOMP So I stomped back into the office, gathered up even more dirty dishes and then stomped them back to the kitchen.. STOMP STOMP STOMP then stomped back to the office. STOMP STOMP STOMP All the while laughing inside.
Today the bottoms of my feet are sore and bruised. I’m still amused.
*I really tried to think of a way to make this WoW related.. but I can’t directly. It’s vaguely related.. right after the stomping I logged in… HTH

My guild “West Kingdom” in cooperation with the guild “Shadow Warlords” fielded a 10 man group to go try Zul’Aman. We were easily able to take out the bear lord but found the bird boss to be too much to handle.
I’m hesitant to call this a guild first only because it wasn’t a guild-only first. West Kingdom -can- field a 10 man group to ZA.. we just haven’t. So this is a (sorta) guild first. Shadow Warlords is also our partner into Gruul’s Lair and (hopefully eventually) other 25-man raids.
I have screenshots but I forgot to upload them before leaving for work. I’ll get this post updated tonight with pics. Seriously, what do you need the screenshot for? It’ll look like every other dead bear boss pic on the net.. only for this one Tatia the Dranei will be standing in front of the corpse. Pfft

I read this from the blues:
* Holy shock (Rank 1) now deals 277-299 damage to an enemy and heals an ally for 351-379 Health.
* Holy shock (Rank 2) now deals 379-409 damage to an enemy and heals an ally for 480-518 Health.
* Holy shock (Rank 3) now deals 496-536 damage to an enemy and heals an ally for 628-680 Health.
* Holy shock (Rank 4) now deals 614-664 damage to an enemy and heals an ally for 777-841 Health.
* Holy shock (Rank 5) now deals 721-779 damage to an enemy and heals an ally for 931-987 Health.
I got all glossy eyed at the increased healing and damage. Then I read this:
Holy Shock: The healing, damage, and mana cost of this spell have all been increased.
Um.. mana cost. Hrm. Now I’m wondering if there might be a hit to mana efficiency based on these changes.

Having a moment of HRM with guild Banks. Both with West Kingdom guild and with my personal bank of one.
This morning I went looking for Netherweb Spider Silk. Lilac needs two to make her new shoulders. I fired up TBag and typed in “Netherweb Spider Silk” and it immediately told me that Tatia had one in her bank. I retrieved it and then wondered if there were any in the WK guild bank. I wandered over to the guild vault and then spent three minutes staring at the first tab of the WK vault. Then three more minutes staring at the second tab.. then another three minutes staring at the third tab. Even then I’m not 100% certain that I didn’t just skim over it in all the icons. I had the same experience when I went looking through the tabs of my guild-of-one. 10-15 minutes wasted staring at tabs.
All the tabs are totally stuffed with a plethora of semi-organized crap. It’s completely possible that I missed it in my skimming. This annoys me. I think I need a new addon. Harumph!
