Guild Bank short comings

MessHaving a moment of HRM with guild Banks. Both with West Kingdom guild and with my personal bank of one.

This morning I went looking for Netherweb Spider Silk. Lilac needs two to make her new shoulders. I fired up TBag and typed in “Netherweb Spider Silk” and it immediately told me that Tatia had one in her bank. I retrieved it and then wondered if there were any in the WK guild bank. I wandered over to the guild vault and then spent three minutes staring at the first tab of the WK vault. Then three more minutes staring at the second tab.. then another three minutes staring at the third tab. Even then I’m not 100% certain that I didn’t just skim over it in all the icons. I had the same experience when I went looking through the tabs of my guild-of-one. 10-15 minutes wasted staring at tabs.

All the tabs are totally stuffed with a plethora of semi-organized crap. It’s completely possible that I missed it in my skimming. This annoys me. I think I need a new addon. Harumph!

  • yeah… I’ve appointed one of my officers to take care of organizing our vault. Everyone yells at him when he doesn’t. lol.

  • I have 3 Tabs on my Alt personal guild bank. I keep them all organized. But then again im only one that deposit and withdraw stuff. Having it organised make it easy to find stuff.

  • Haha, I have 2 tabs on my own personal alt guild bank. Tab 2 is mostly full of rocks and cloth :) Definite clear our required.

So, you are looking for a Netherweb Spider Silk for your new shoulders? Is it Fronzen Shadowweave Shoulders? EvilBastage just needs 2more shadowcloth and he can make them :P gotta wait till 11am on Monday for the cooldown though :(

I made the shoulders already. Actually I need the Netherweb Spider Silk to make Imbued Netherweave Tunic and Robe for the skill up. At this point I have the Frozen Shadowweave shoulders and boots.. but you need to be 375 to make the robe (and the yummy soul shard bag). These last 10 points in tailoring are kicking my butt.

    Hola,

Great blog! Considering that I too have a warlock and a paladin, I couldn’t ask for a better place to come and read for a few hours :)

I know this is an old topic but I didn’t see a decent answer to your question. I can highly recommend BankItems. It catalogues all the bags and banks across all your chars and, more importantly, includes the guild bank as well. Couldn’t live without it.

Now if I can only break the habit of trying to withdraw items from the bank when I’m in the middle of Nagrand :)

    Keep up the good work
