Hi all,
West Kingdom is a casual raiding guild. My interpretation of that is we don’t have required raid attendance. Every raid has a good 20 mins before hand of “Who is on? Which toons do we have access too? Can we do it with these toons?” We have a set raid time.. but there’s no good way for people to sign up for a raid.
Does anyone have a fantastic tool for this? I’m looking for either inside or outside of WoW.
Currently we’re using the calendar tool on Guild Cafe. This has allowed us to setup raid times.. but the sign-up is clunky and pretty much everyone signed up recurring.. but on the days when they can’t make it they don’t drop from the raid.. so we end up with 14 people signed up.. but only 7 show up.

What I want:
Lilac, the munchkin of mad DPS, to get the spiffy necklace out of Kara and knock down HKM and Gruul.
Tatia, heally goat goddess of the neverending mana pool, to get ZA upgrades.. to see SSC.
What I actually get:
Lilac, the munchkin of meh DPS, helps WK to painful limp through Curator and Illhoof. It was a painful to the extreme Kara run. Frustrating just.. UGH. Nights like that make me want to play alts.. or go watch TV.

Group of Words, a new-ish Wow-ish Blog-ish made me laugh with his words of wisdom about tanking/healing.
The problem with his point.. I -was- the 1 grrl amongst the 6 geeky guys.. although my chances were good.. the field was pretty barren. Seriously.. computer geeks are not the most lovely ppl ever… nice to talk with.. but I’d rather snog a football player. Just sayin’.

Six months ago my normal FPS was ~35-60. It was nice. I paid it no attention. It worked and that was all I needed. Somewhere between there and here my FPS took a dump. It’s been ok.. ~20’s but nothing fantastic. I want fantastic.

Hi all…
I’m looking for an in-game hat. It should be cloth.. and resemble a dunce cap.
The guild has indicated that it would like to have a badge of shame to be worn by the person to wipe the raid. Ideally this would be a dunce cap.
Any ideas?

Wednesday for West Kingdom is regular Karazhan. We were:
Heimdal (Pally tank), Ursidae (Druid Tank), Khoss (Resto Shaman), Seanarra (Holy Pally), Raouen (MM Hunter)(through Attuman)/Lilac (ME)(Affliction Warlock)(after Attuman), Kialyss (Frost Mage), Chulong (Rogue)(all except Maiden)/Underrated(Dest Warlock)(Maiden Only), Wannalaya (Fury Warrior), Shoktul (Boomkin), and Gaelentu (Dest Warlock)(Who got saved as a mob in WWS 
).

I was having UI issues (I kinda broke Pitbull and had to re-set-it-up) so Raouen went to Attuman. Since I wasn’t there for Attuman, that’s not included in this WWS. We downed Attuman, Moroes, Maiden, and Opera (Big Bad Wolf).

I feel Arathas’ icy cold breath on the back of my neck. It’s coming. And I know that when it gets here all plans are null and void and the only plan is “get to 80″ But I still have questions.
If Wrath hit tomorrow, who would go to 80 first?
If Wrath hit tomorrow.. what would I feel regret for not doing?
If Wrath hit tomorrow.. are there any other alts that I’d be sad if they’re left even further in the dust?
If Wrath hit tomorrow.. would I play a Death Knight?

Is it just me.. or is it true that the three skills Pallies learn after 60 (ie, in Burning Crusade) are only -sometimes- useful?
Crusader Aura - Nice to be able to ride faster.. but not game-changing in fighting.
Seal of Blood/Seal of Vengance - SoB, nice for Retribution PVPers. SoV… seems like it’d be nice for PVE tanks.. but it’s so undependable I can’t think of anyone who uses it.
Avenging Wrath - Wings. Seriously, wings. Useless for Healing. Too expensive for tanking. Possibly used by Ret or Shockadins.
Not a -huge- bucket of suck.. but it’s definately no Seed of Corruption/Soulshatter.

Yes, I’m kinda chatty today. I guess I have a lot of pent up things to say.
Last night, Wednesday, West Kingdom regular group formed up to take on Kara. I have to say.. it’s very weird to go into Kara on Wednesday and find it full of mobs that you cleared totally out of the way on Monday.
Anyway. We were:
Heimdal (Paladin Tank), Ursadae (Druid Tank), Ireena (Holy Priest)(until Maiden)/Khoss (Resto Shaman)(after Maiden), Seanarra (Holy Paladin)(until Curator)/Sae (BM Hunter)(for Curator), Tanuur (Melee Shaman), Amellea (Feral Druid), Wannalaya (Fury Warrior), Erasmmus (Fire Mage), Lilac (ME) (Affliction Warlock), Kialyss (Frost Mage)
We were able to finish off Attuman, Maiden, Moroes, Opera (Oz). We made a couple attempts on Curator but.. I think we had a positioning problem that compounded a healing problem. So we weren’t able to down Curator.
I -know- it’s not all about the big numbers.. but I still have to giggle from giddiness.
I finally timed my CoD correctly and was able to hit Curator for 25,344. Tatia never sees big numbers.. and normally Lilac sees lots and lots of little numbers. So I’m kinda stoked about this.
.. I’m -ok- with Lilac’s performance.. I do think I had a little trouble with targeting which lowered my DPS.. but overall it was ok.
