Guild First: Morogrim Tidewalker and Fathom-Lord Karathress

Tidewalker DeadOn Sunday, 10/19/2008, for the first time -ever-, West Kingdom completed Zul’Aman. We then went on and took down Tidewalker and Fathom-Lord Karathress. We one shot Tidewalker and two-shot the Fathom-Lord.

Fathom-Lord DeadIn attendance were:
Heimdall, Axnil, Dudu, Grale, Lilac, Delow, Doomie, Erasmmus, Goatwench, Weaver, Avatarlordon, Hrothgarr, Paligor, Saranth, Validor, Adonismaster
Ceraphina, Nexishard, Xephina, Ynit, Hoose, Krullwyn, Odisia, Persephany, and Zynnia

Off-hand I don’t know who was in the ZA group. We had two of them running concurrently. My group got 3 chests and 5/6 bosses**. The other group got 6/6 bosses but I don’t know how many chests they got.

In either case, I’m pretty sure patch 3.0.2 is OP.

**We made a few attempts on the last boss.. but we lacked melee and had to go to the 25-man raids.

The other group got 3 chests and one shot everything. It honestly felt like we muscled our way through ZA. Raw brute DPS overcame the instance, not great strategy.

Ex: Due to a communication error, both dragonhawk hatchers were killed with only a few eggs hatched. When the second batch came up the stairs, we killed one and let the other hatch all his eggs. I was killing him as he made his way to the other side when Jan’Alai hit 35% and all the hawks came out. We managed to burn down nearly all of both sides at once before killing the boss.

Agreed. We killed one of the hatchers but accidentally allowed the other to hatch all of the eggs.

Raw DPS seems to make up for alot of finesse.
