Over the weekend we killed Auriayanaysaysaefwhateverthefuckhernameis, the crazy cat lady. I suppose I’ll do a “guild first” post tomorrow (I forgot the screenshot at home). Anyway, she dropped these Mantle of the Preserver. I rolled. One of the two priests in the group rolled. The priest beat me. Then decided to pass because “it would break up my set bonus”. The loot-master awarded the shoulders. And then I looked at them. I mean really looked at them.
They’re pink.. with sparkles. NO.. the image doesn’t do them justice.. THEY’RE PINK!!! WITH LOVELY LITTLE SPARKLES. OMFG!!! I stared at them.. aghast.
I’m a force of darkness.. creatures hear my name and tremble (which is funny considering my name is “Lilac”). I rain down pain and suffering.. I bring corruption and blight.. and my fking shoulders were going to be PINK WITH FKING SPARKLES.
I /facepalmed. I died a little on the inside.
Then the other priest reconnected. She had gotten DC’d just before the shoulder were announced by the loot-master. She did want the shoulders.. in fact she literally squeed with joy that they were pink and sparkled.
That is the fastest I have ever filed a /gm ticket to get loot moved over. Srlsy.. Pink with freaking sparkles.
