  • Boats? Really? Boats are annoying and waste time in my opinion. I did Eastern Kingdoms last night where I started in Booty Bay and flew my way up. Of course I’m just doing one continent at a time. After the one I was tired of the whole thing, particularly where the Horde killed my Flight Masters!

    The best part about this is the boats.. doing this as a group we had people who were just quicker than others. The boats were where we were all able to group back up.

    Honestly I don’t mind the boats so much. I mind the 4-5 minute fight paths (ugh) alot more.

    So far I’ve done this on 31 mage, 59 hunter, 51 druid. Everyone of those toons got about 1.5 levels from just old Azeroth.

    I’m considering whether I want to tackle this on my horde-side warlock.

    Added bonus: The BoA chest/shoulders adds an additional 20% xp. :) I have the cloth pieces, and everyone of my toons is able to wear cloth so they all got to have the bonus.

    I’m trying to figure out how you managed to get the Everlook bucket on a 31 mage… You would have to go through Timbermaw Hold and they are hostile when you first encounter them. The quests to earn enough rep to walk through is in the upper 40s.

    jorge, timbermaw bothered you more than getting around outland? in a group they prolly had a lock summon the lowbies

  • You can always Corpse Run to wherever you want to go.
    Say you want to get a level 1 human alt to Booty Bay, to serve as a transfer toon.

    Create the toon, run out of the valley, and get killed. Run south as a ghost, all the way down to the outskirts of Booty Bay in Stranglethorn. Run to the Spirit Keeper, but don’t rez. Instead, log out. This severs your tie to your corpse up in Elwynn, which would rip you back to a spirit healer close to the corpse if you tried to rez.

    Now, log back in, rez, and enter town.

    During the Honoring the Elders event, you had free ports to Moonglade. I used that opportunity to get the FP for Moonglade, as well as Winterspring, for a bunch of my level 20 toons.

    @Jorge
    WRT Timbermaw Hold.. I died.. alot. :) It took about 3 deaths to get all the way up Felwood (and got the two fight paths) and through the tunnel. Really, Eastern Plaguelands was harder :)

    @tyrant
    To be honest, I only did Outlands on my Hunter.. who had just dinged 60 and gotten the flying mount.

    @Bloodshrike
    That’s a great idea. I wish I’d known about it -before- running the gauntlets :P Really Eastern Plaguelands and Timbermaw Hold were the hardest ones to do. Other than that, it was just time spent running.

    @Nibuca:
    any idea how long it took you to complete all?

  • Nibuca

    I want to say 2-3 hrs per toon. I did it two and a half times on Sunday.. and also went out for lunch and did some HH.

    I think the following would be better:

    Feralas, Feathermoon Stronghold
    Silithus, Cenarion Hold
    Tanaris, Gadgetzan

    The way you have it you fly to gadget, then Cenarion hold. To fly to Darn from Cenarion hold, you have to fly back to gadget.

    I see where you’re going with this.. and I agree that’s the better path -if you have the flight points- my baby mage is only level 30. She had to run and there’s no run path from Feralas to Silithus.
