Here’s an example: They’re all so similar.. and I just get confused. Which two should I use? This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion. I knew I’d read about it before but I’d forgotten where. That is, the Nameplate change. In 3.3 they’re making a couple of changes to the way Nameplates work. Read this post from the official forums.. almost a year ago: http://blue.mmo-champion.com/27/12065380712-healer-boredom-a-ui-issue.html It’s a very very cool idea. I’m very pleased to see them taking this suggestion into [...] This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion.

Closeup allows you to spin you character and zoom in/out in the changing room. It’s a vanity addon that lets you see what things look like close up. It also works in the character pane.. and on inspect. Really.. it’s [...] This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion. Thing 1:Nameplates Verdict: Bad for PVPers (which I’m not one of) but potentially good for healers. This could allow healers to heal ppl based on their nameplate floating above their head. This is good because it will let healers pay attention to more than just their raid frames.. but has the potential badness that they might not notice someone behind them who’s taking damage. Overall I like the idea. I -think- I’d like it more if nameplates that were out of range could be showed as greyed out.. or something like that. We’ll see. Out of the blue, during the standard PUG discussion** where every shaman demands 4 different pally buffs and someone randomly whines that they’re missing buffs but they don’t know which one.. and repeated requests for vent info (there was none)… out of the blue one of the warlocks typed the following in Raid: /raid Fantacyx: Lilac, you don’t exist. I mean I’d always thought I existed.. but it’s really more of a metaphysical conversation than I expected to have in a PUG raid. This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion. I think TBag is one of the very first addons I ever installed. It’s been part of my UI since March 2007 (about a month after I started playing WoW). TBags is an indispensable inventory addon. It works right out of the box with no additional fiddling. It shows your inventory all-at-once and then sorts it into logical groupings. That said, if the arrangement doesn’t please you, you can fiddle with it. |
