No, this isn’t a hunter addon.. though I suppose hunters could use it .
Multishot is a tiny little addon that automatically takes screenshots for you when certain events happen. You can open the config by hitting ESC and choosing Interface, then the Addon tab. As you can see by my [...]
Green Proto-drake! Woot! #
On second attempt (on a different toon, at a different time) the “Turkinator” achievement isn’t as easy as it was the first time.
The first time I did the achievement on Lilac at about 1am PST. So there wasn’t -any- competition. With subsequent attempts on other toons the competition has been frustrating. Blizz needs to figure out a way for us to do stuff like this (turkey killing, egg gathering, etc) without having one person’s goal spite everyone else’s goal.*** As it is, turkey killing favors whoever has the instant spell with the longest range.
Go to Elwynn.
/target Wild Turkey
Put this on a keybound button.
Mount up, run along the edges of the water ways (avoid the murlocks.. as a guildie mentioned.. obviously murlocs eat turkeys because no turkeys spawned near the murloc village) and slightly off the road. Anyway.. Run.. spam the macro. When you target [...]
Recount is a DPS meter. I’m sure there are others around.. but Recount seems to be the #1 choice.
When you install recount it will begin watching as you fight and record how much healing/damage/cleansing you/your party/your raid does.
By default on my Warlock when I’m out of combat (I hide recount when I’m in combat) I normally display the damage done screen. This screenshot is showing the total damage done (and average DPS) of our Ulduar-10 group. In this case I’m showing all the damage up to this point (including trash). Oh.. darn, look at that.. I choose a screenshot that has me on top.. I wonder why Note that the highest DPSer doesn’t always have the most damage done (the druid did more DPS than the rogue in the #3 spot.. but did less damage overall).
It only goes 280.
I couldn’t be happier (well .. unless they made it 310.. and made my tickbirds sell for more [...]
Acquired sushi: Weekend can now commence. #
I’ve decided to play and gear up my Paladin a bit. Don’t be alarmed.. my first love is all things Warlockery.. but sometimes the group just needs a healer.. and I feel bad having one.. but not having her properly geared.
Wednesday night I shuffled her gear around and made sure I had as many of the BOE/Badge purchasable gear upgrades (gemmed and enchanted) as I could. Mostly Tatia’s in Naxx-10 gear with a smattering of other gear.
At the moment (patch 3.2.2) Deep Destruction is the acknowledged “best” Warlock DPS spec. I know this, you know this, we all get it. I’ve got it as my off-spec but haven’t seen the uber numbers with it so I continue to play as Affliction**.
A few days ago I wandered over to EJ with the intention of double checking my off-spec rotation and point allocation. While wandering the forum I found this lovely thread theorycrafting the “best spec” for patch 3.3. I was thrilled to find that deep affliction with felpuppy (my favorite setup) is currently mathified to be the “best” spec with Deep Destruction very very close behind (close enough that the difference is negligible and you could justify playing either). So my plan is to continue to play Affliction (and more often than not beat equally geared Destruction Warlocks) and ride the “favored spec” wave when it comes in 3.3.
