Mystic Chicanery

While listening to Rawrcast I heard Stomp say that she’s “grinding exalted with the running circles in Dalaran boss”. I’m aware of that boss. I know of people who do that.. they hang out in Dalaran waiting for someone to pick them up from LFG so they can “have fun”. Later in the show Hafrot mentioned that he’s grinding Rep with Zandalar.. and Stomp responded that she “didn’t have time for that”.

Wait a minute. Step back. Stomp’s running circles in Dalaran.. and doesn’t have time for other rep grinding. Really? What’s going on here?

There are 1,001 HUGE things the Blizz could implement. I get dazzled just thinking about things like Guild Housing, Path of the Titans, Guild leveling and such. But sometimes.. I wish they’d just implement some little things from my want list. They’re not huge.. they’re just.. missing.. and annoying.

Remember back.. during Blizzcon.. when all the changes were announced? They never mentioned Stranglethorn. Not once. I assumed that’s because it was on the other continent from where Deathwing was coming up out of the ground that he just kind of missed it.

Remember back.. shortly after Blizzcon.. when the Dev’s talked about which zones were being touched.. and how severe the changes were? Again, they never mentioned Stranglethorn. I figured that much like Silithus it was “good enough to leave it as it is”.

Once upon a time I played D&D (it was in college.. everyone was doing it). I think I played a ranger. I like bows and shooting things from range. I think I was terribad at it. Pretty much I played with a group who would look at me and say “Roll a D20″ and I’d roll and then look at them and say “I got a 7, is that good”? Mostly I was there for the story telling. Honestly I could almost have played the game without die.

Anyway we started our adventures in an Inn. We wandered around the country doing odd jobs and hearing hints of evil plots. Every once in a while we’d stumble on corrupted church that needed to be cleared out.. or a simple maiden who’d been kidnapped by banshees and spirited away to their banshee lair. It was a good simple time.
