First step: train Pandaran flying.
I’m surprised how much I missed it. In fact I missed it MORE after I ran back to the old world and spent a couple days flying around taming battle pets. It’s good to be back in the air.
Second step: Continue questing. I read somewhere (? maybe a tweet from Blizz?) that the easiest way to get iLevel 460, and be ready for raiding/heroics, was to complete the quest lines in Townlong Steepes and the Dread Wastes. So, like a dutiful daughter.. I soldier on.
It made me laugh
On the initial trip into Townlong Steppes the Pandaran guide shouted out: “Come, we must go!”. I just about hurt myself /facepalming.
Also, on that same trip, my guide noted that Townlong Steppes is the “most desolate area of Pandaria”. Wow, seriously? -This- is desolate? Someone obviously has never been to Shadowmoon Valley. Compared to Shadowmoon Valley, Townlong Steppes is practically a vacation destination. Just sayin’
Oh.. also.. anyone know which faction, as a good little Warlock, I should start working on? I suppose I could go and research it.. but I have the feeling that since I’m so far behind the curve someone else has already done that work.
