In which I -blah- about the boring stuff I did last night. Read on at your own risk.
We only had 21 people on in time for the second try at SSC. Weaver called the raid off. Fiancee formed up a ZA instead. I wasn’t in it. I tried to get a Heroic group together so I could finish off everything for the Champion of the Naaru title (Lilac needs H-Slabs and H-Shattered Halls). Mags is on Saturday.

“In order to make the transition from The Burning Crusade to Wrath of the Lich King flow as smoothly as possible, all accrued honor points will be reset at the launch of the expansion. … For those with unspent honor points prior to the release of the expansion, we will be offering a few upgrades and special rewards in next content patch solely for purchase via the honor system.”
Oh, and all the marks of honor are disappearing as well.
So.. all that grinding that happened during the Olympics week.. Poof, gone. *sigh*
So.. should I spend Lilac’s accrued honor on the PVP trinket? Or should she spend even more time PVPing and get a mount instead? Or should I just not care?

So they changed their mind. Honor isn’t going to reset. So.. um. Whee!
I can’t believe the number of people wailing about how bored they are. I have too much to do and too little time to do it in. Wrath is coming. Hell, before that patch 3.0.2 is coming. It’s breathing down my neck.. and I am not prepared.
I finally got Tatia copied over to the Beta. As I was about to log into Beta I cried out “Oh My DEAR GOD, WHAT WAS THAT?” Then I had to sit on the log in screen for a while to see if it happened again.
Thursday: Woo hoo! I’m in the beta. {Massive Migraine wipes me out. I barely make it in the door of the house. I went straight to bed and slept from 6:30 pm to 8:00 am (Missed a great one-shot of Gruul’s Lair). So no upgrading of account and no downloading.}
Friday: Woo hoo! I’m working at home today. I’ll be able to download the new client. Hmm 6 hour download. That’ll really kill my work productivity. Ok.. I’ll just download it after work. {Work all day.. then start download.. and head out of town for the weekend}
So I just got the “Welcome to Beta” email from Blizzard. I’m giddy and yet already I feel guilty.
Do I neglect my guild and focus on helping debug beta? We’re just now making good progression.. I can’t really justify it.
Or do I neglect beta and spend alot of time on the live envs. I’d feel guilty triggering my beta key if I only end up spending 2-3 hours actually helping with beta stuff. *sigh*
