Last Friday we recorded the 80th episode of the Twisted Nether Blogcast. We had a round table.. it was fantastically fun. On the round table we had: We covered: [...] The WoW Gods hate us. Blow #1: I had a /facepalm moment. To set the stage.. last week (and frankly ever since the 3.3.3 change to Frozen Orbs were announced) I’ve dutifully ran my daily heroic. At the end of every heroic I hesitated over the Frozen Orb. Do I greed and hope that no one else has already needed it.. [...] Rotface is totally a pansy. We’ve killed him twice. He’s totally on farm. We also downed Yogg-Saron (yeah us!). He’s also kind of a pansy (when you totally out-gear him). Putricide is a punk. Hate him. He can take his fking good news and stuff it up his skiny ass. We [...] Here’s something I’ve observed.. Blizz thinks (possibly rightly) that choice is more interesting than non-choice. They’re putting extreme amounts of effort into the game just to provide you with valid alternatives. They’ve given Warlocks 3 viable raiding specs and are working to make them each approximately equivalent. They balanced all the professions [...] 1. DPSing in a raid after being on vacation is kind of surreal. My fingers remember what to do much better than my head. Add to that, it’s all so very very pretty. I’m still a little distracted by how pretty the game is. 2. A guildie refers to Emblems of Triumph as [...] Oops.. I did that thing again where I go off on vacation and forget to let you all know about it. ah well.. I’m back now. The good thing about taking a week off the game is that suddenly everything is very pretty.. the spells are just lovely.. though I will admit.. it all [...] No answers here.. this is totally a wondering.. more of a reminder to me that I need to experiment with this to find out the “real” answer… BUT: If we’re pulling a big pack of mobs (ie, the groups in the ICC Lower spire) and I’m going to be spamming seed.. which method is better: A) Tab, [...] The raiding weekly on my server is to kill Sartharion. We formed up a team and found that we had 14 people interested in going. On a lark we flipped it to OS-25 to see if we could 14-man the 25-man. It turns out we could. Actually.. with 14 people in [...] Having determined (or rather been pummeled about the head and neck with the fact) that the Nevermelting Ice Thingie is one trinket that is relatively easy to get (as it drops in 5-man heroics rather than 25-man heroics) and out-trinkets quite a few trinkets from ICC-25.
