Heroic Ahn’kahet sucks balls

We only got 2/4 bosses down in Heroic Ahn’Kahet: The Old Kingdom.

Hints on Boss #1: kill the big spiders or else everyone becomes immune.

Making the numbers

WWS seems to still be borked. We’re casting about to find a new true love to munch our numbers and we’ve stumbed on WOW Meter Online.

Last night’s Void Reaver kill.

Observations:
– meets the “epeen building” portion of our number munching requirements. We can definitely tell who topped the damage meter.
– We can’t seem to find the trash.
– I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it’s written/maintained by non-english speakers.
– “Raid Analytics” is interesting.. also a little uncomfortable if you show up under the “Who idle too much as DPS”. Also.. “lower than average DPS”.. Well.. about 1/2 the DPSers should be lower than average. So I’m not entirely sure what to make of that.
– Realtime DPS graph is nice.. I just wish it’d show me what skills were contributing to that DPS at the time.

Raid stacking 3.0.x

StackingAlmost everything is now raid wide. A couple of times I’ve corrected our Raid Leader when she started reorganizing the raids to “optimize” buffs. That said, there are still a few “party only” buffs.

“SILENCE! I kill you!”

F1West Kingdom is a very friendly, vocal guild. We hang out on vent all the time. We’re constantly heckling each other.

BUT we’re busting into the raiding scene and we decided that “The Raid Leader is in charge” and if you’re not the raid leader you should stay off the vent channel unless you have questions.

I’ve found this really hard to do. I have helpful things to say.. quips to make.. heckling to do. But last night I decided I needed to get better about keeping it to myself.

The Blue Beam

Oh, just a note, it is possible for a single warlock to take the full duration of Netherspite’s blue beam. Dot him up and then use Drain Life. The added +spell allows you to get more life back than you’re losing to the increased shadow damage. Occasional heals help.
