We ran into the wandering Shade bug in Kara again last night. Just before we engaged the first room of 4 shades I spotted a wandering shade and warned the raid that shortly we’d be mobbed by shades. We killed the wandering shade.. and sure enought ~8 seconds later, 15 spell shades started streaming down the stairs at us. We ran.. some people actually made it out the door.. I wasn’t one of them. I died to arcane bolts through the floor while jumping the railing on the stairs leading down to the back door. This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion. West Kingdom is growing… we’re now at the point where we can consistently field 10 players to go into Kara. In fact we even have some wiggle room so if a player isn’t able to come we can get another player in to take his/her place. But we now can’t get -everyone- into Kara. There are 4-5 players who end up sidelined because we have enough people to go into Kara. This post was published long before the Mists of Pandara Expansion. Wednesday night West Kingdom experienced loot drama. It wasn’t even about loot per se.. it was about shards .. and the lack of loot. We went to Kara. We were: Gongniu (Warrior Tank), Pheefee (Warrior off-tank), Validor (Holy Pally), Weaver (Holy Priest), Tatia (Holy Pally)(for everything except Opera), Shoktul (Boomkin), Krullwyn (BM Hunter), Stilletta (Rogue), Sibiy (BM Hunter), and Fynriss (BM Hunter) (for Attuman and Opera), and Amellea (for everything except Attuman). The kills went very smoothly and I don’t think we had any wipes. There was a little bit of confusion with people rotating in and out of the raid for different bosses but I think it worked out in the end (Fynriss got the gun from BBW that he’d been wanting). I mean hey.. it’s not WowInsider here Yesterday I briefly mentioned the massive suck that was a Heroic Mechanar run. Last night was “the massive suck that is a Kara run”. I got in a lot of family time.. and very little WoW time. I’m ok with that. It is as it should be. I did learn that I’m almost completely dependant on my Nostromo N52 and Bartender3.
